Warranty Registration Process

Here’s how customers can register their ZAGG products for warranty.

  1. Visit ZAGG’s official website and access their product registration page.
  2. Update your valid credit card information, and enter the necessary product information, including the model number, product name, purchase date and where it was purchased from.
  3. If you do not already have an account with ZAGG, create one using your name, email address and password.
  4. Register the product under your account using the product details, ensuring the product is registered under your account and that the warranty is applicable.
  5. Once the product is registered, you will get access to your account manager. This is the platform that allows you to process warranty claims and other related functions.
  6. The account manager is where you can submit warranty claims if you experience any trouble with the product during the warranty period by providing the necessary product information and details about the issue you are facing with the product.
  7. ZAGG may require you return the product within a stipulated period in order to process the warranty claim. This period is often 60 days. The cost of shipping the product will need to be borne by you.
  8. Do note that ZAGG’s warranty is applicable only if you are the primary purchaser of the product directly from the brand themselves or from one of their authorized resellers.
  9. While the above is a description of the product registration and claims process, it may vary depending on the product. Do visit ZAGG’s website for the latest and most up-to-date information.

Zagg

Warranty Policy

The ZAGG Warranty Policy covers ZAGG®, InvisibleShield®, IFROGZ®, mophie®, Gear4®, and BRAVEN® branded products. To avail of the warranty, it is recommended to register your product at ZAGG.com before making a warranty claim. If you purchased your product from ZAGG.com while signed into your ZAGG.com account, your product was automatically registered at the time of purchase. In some cases, you may be asked to provide a photograph of your product as proof during the claim process. Alternatively, you can visit a supporting franchise location for a warranty replacement, but it's advisable to call the specific store beforehand to check if they have the desired replacement in stock. Please note that there may be a replacement or installation fee applicable in certain cases.

It's important to understand that all ZAGG warranties are non-transferrable and are only available to the original end-user who purchased the product directly from ZAGG or an Authorized ZAGG reseller. The warranty does not apply to products bought from unauthorized resellers. Many resellers who sell through platforms like Amazon, eBay, or social media may not be authorized retailers or resellers of ZAGG products. When making online purchases, it is crucial to take note of the seller's location and legitimacy. Second-hand items, including those purchased from websites such as Amazon, eBay, or Craigslist, are not covered by the ZAGG Warranty Policy.

Warranty Claim Process

To claim a warranty for Zagg products, you can follow these simple steps:

  1. Prepare your proof of purchase: Locate your original purchase receipt or any other document that proves you are the rightful owner of the Zagg product and that it is still within the warranty period. This is important as it establishes your eligibility for a warranty claim.
  1. Ensure Product Is Registered: For warranty to be applicable, it may be mandatory to register certain ZAGG products on their website within the specified time period. Do check and make sure that your product has been registered.
  1. Determine the warranty coverage: Familiarize yourself with the terms and conditions of the Zagg warranty for the specific product you own. This will help you understand what issues or defects are covered under the warranty and for how long.  Most warranties do not apply to accidental damage or damage caused by misuse. Assess the damage to your ZAGG products and make sure the type of damage is covered under warranty.
  1. Contact Zagg customer support: Reach out to Zagg's customer support team either through their website, email, or phone. Provide them with the necessary details, including the product model, purchase date, and a clear description of the issue or defect you are experiencing. They will guide you through the warranty claim process.
  1. Follow the instructions provided: Zagg's customer support team will provide you with instructions on how to proceed with your warranty claim. This may involve submitting additional information or photographs of the product, returning the defective item, or any other necessary steps. Based on the type of damage and the coverage provided, ZAGG may either replace or repair your product. Please note that in some cases, the replacement may be a refurbished piece and not a new one.
  1. Packaging and shipping: If you are instructed to return the product, carefully package it to prevent any damage during transit. Follow the shipping instructions provided by Zagg, which may include using a specific carrier or obtaining a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number. In some cases, you may have to bear certain additional costs, such as shipping fees, installation charges, or product replacement fees. You will find these costs mentioned clearly in ZAGG’s warranty terms and conditions.
  1. Await resolution: Once you have submitted your warranty claim and returned the product if required, Zagg's customer support team will assess the issue and determine whether it qualifies for a warranty replacement, repair, or refund. The time taken to process your claim may vary, so be patient and follow up with them if necessary.
  1. Receive the resolution: If your warranty claim is approved, Zagg will provide you with a replacement product, repair your existing product, or issue a refund based on their warranty policy. Follow any further instructions they provide to complete the process.

It's important to note that the specific process and requirements may vary depending on the product, country, and Zagg's warranty policy. Please make sure you go through the Warranty Policy Section before filing a claim
